Connecticut Building and Fire Safety Codes – 2009 Amendments
The 2009 amendments to the 2005 State Building Code and the 2005 State Fire Safety Code have been posted on the Office of the State Building Inspector website. The amendments are effective on August 1, 2009 and were published in the Connecticut Law Journal on June 9.
Updated Regulations Concerning Mortgage Foreclosure
The Connecticut Department of Banking has published amended regulations concerning protection from foreclosure. Among other things, the notice to the homeowner about the existence of the protection from foreclosure statutes has been revised to include citations to the statutory sections instead of the 1983 public act. 
Federal Register's New Electronic Public Inspection Desk
The Office of the Federal Register now offers, through its Public Inspection Desk, access to documents on file before they are published.
For the first time in the 72-year existence of the daily Federal Register, the documents on file are available for viewing anytime, anywhere. Every Federal business day, anyone with access to a computer now can read critical documents governing Federal regulations relating to business, health, and safety as soon as the documents are placed on file. Fall 2008 Unified Agenda - Federal Agencies

RegInfo.gov has made available the fall 2008 Unified Agenda.

The Unified Agenda, published every spring and fall, provides uniform reporting of data on regulatory and deregulatory activities under development throughout the Federal Government, covering approximately 60 departments, agencies, and commissions. Each edition of the Unified Agenda includes regulatory agendas from all Federal entities that currently have regulations under development or review...Fall editions of the Unified Agenda include The Regulatory Plan, which presents agency statements of regulatory priorities and additional information about the most significant regulatory activities planned for the coming year.
